    Red apples

Morocco's red apples win over international markets with their bright color, natural crunch and balanced flavor. Thanks to its high-altitude orchards and well-managed agriculture, the Kingdom produces red apple varieties that meet the requirements of distributors, wholesalers and manufacturers. Morocco has thus established itself as a reliable player in the export of apples to West Africa, Southern Europe and the Middle East.

    Main growing regions

The best Moroccan red apples come from regions with cool nights and sunny days, ideal for the fruit's natural colouring:

    • Azrou - Ifrane: wide temperature range, highly pigmented apples.

    • El Hajeb: historic region, very good sales performance.

    • Khénifra: medium altitude, crisp, sweet fruit.

    • Boulmane - Midelt: well-established orchards, homogeneous harvests.

    • Taza: developing, very good size in modern orchards.

Harvest: from september to novemberdepending on the variety.
