Peppers are grown in regions with a high level of agricultural technology, in open fields or under glass:
Souss-Massa (Chtouka Aït Baha): greenhouse cultivation, early production.
Gharb - Kenitra: sweet peppers, high yield in the field.
Doukkala - El Jadida: winter cultivation and regular grading.
Marrakech - Haouz: harvest continues, strong processing chillies.
Agadir - Taroudant: area specialized in long red pepper exports.
Harvest: from November to Junedepending on variety and growing system.
