This "super fruit" is increasingly in demand in modern distribution channels, both fresh and processed. Thanks to advanced cultivation techniques and a well-positioned production season, Morocco is now a strategic supplier of blueberries to Europe, Asia and the Gulf countries.

    Main growing regions

    The cultivation of blueberries in Morocco has developed in regions with a temperate, bright climate, which is essential for the quality of the fruit:

    • Larache - Loukkos: pioneer zone, very early production.

    • Gharb: high concentration of certified orchards.

    • Agadir - Chtouka Aït Baha: ideal conditions for taste quality.

    • Beni Mellal: new high-potential farms.

    • Dakhla (test phase): off-season cultivation experiments.

    Harvest: from January to Junewith a peak in March-April.

    Capacity & Reservation Commitment:

    • Initial reservation of 20 tons of fresh blueberries possible.
    • After validated logistics test, contract scalable up to 200 tons per campaign.
    • Delivery according to weekly or monthly schedule, depending on demand and harvest calendar.

    • Growing methods: Soilless substrate, drip irrigation

    • Harvesting: by hand, from January to June

    • Sizes: 12+ mm / 14+ mm (sorted and calibrated)

    • Certifications: GlobalG.A.P., GRASP, HACCP, BRC (on request)

    Logistics & Export

    • Estimated annual production: +300 tonnes

    • Packaging:

      • 125 g / 250 g trays with lid

      • Trays 1.5 kg / 2 kg (according to specifications)

    • Shelf life: up to 14 days under controlled refrigeration (0 to 1°C)

    • Transport: priority air freight or fast sea freight (refrigerated)
