    Peppers

    Moroccan peppers are appreciated for their bright color, crisp flesh and sweet or fruity taste, depending on the variety. Grown in greenhouses or open fields, they are available in a range of colors (red, green, yellow, orange) and sizes suitable for mass distribution and processing. Thanks to favorable climatic conditions and modern cultivation techniques, Morocco supplies regular volumes of peppers for export, notably to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

    Main growing regions

    Peppers are produced in agricultural areas with a high level of technology and a stable climate:

    • Souss-Massa (Chtouka Aït Baha): main greenhouse-growing area.

    • Gharb - Kenitra: large-volume field production.

    • Berkane: good resistance to transport and seasonal production.

    • Agadir - Taroudant: professional orchards, fast packaging.

    • Dakhla (pilot test): experimentation with off-season cultivation.

    Harvest: from November to Junedepending on variety and zone.

      Thick flesh, mild flavor, very popular with supermarkets.

    • Seasonal contracts possible up to 700 tons/year.

    • Continuous or batch delivery according to destination and format.

    All peppers are sorted, washed and packed according to the importer's specifications.
